The result: a selvedge undyed twill (denim) woven on 19th-century Draper looms at their Red Lion PA facilities. This fabric combines 55% natural French hemp with 45% organic Texas cotton, making it the most durable, comfortable, and responsible fabric we've ever deployed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith this fabric as our foundation, we set out to design a consummate \"go-to\": a versatile piece with layering possibilities, suitable for many occasions that would only get better with wear. Working closely with our most trusted New York City apparel makers, we proudly present the Selvedge Studio Jacket—the evolution of our storied apparel program.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Selvedge Studio Jacket has three exterior patch pockets and two large interior pockets finished with the selvedge edge of the fabric. Its yoke is lined with a lighter-weight cotton-hemp custom repeat stripe. The jacket is sewn on vintage Union Special flat-felled machines for a durable finish and is secured with three Corozo buttons.
